Further Updates
Hello again everyone!
Here are some more updates, we have been quite busy as of late so I have not had a lot of chance to blog about events that are going on - so here is the change.
Firstly, we would like to thank Abadare Girls School for their second donation to our recycling project - the results of which can be found on our Facebook Group.
Secondly, we are working on a new recycling system so people will be able to register for pickups and browse which items we currently have up for recycling via our website.
Third, we are in the process of starting our recycling and advice surgery project with 2 Communities First areas, Treherbert and Penrhys. We are looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

It has been a while since I last blogged but I an pleased to announce that our bids to the Coal Fields Regeneration Trust and Rhondda Trust are now sent and we are waiting on the results.
Microsoft Registered Refurbisher
I am pleased to announce that Community Computer Care Ltd. is now an official member of the Microsoft Registered Refurbisher program as of Friday 4th of June 2010.
We are now authorized by Microsoft to display the program logo on our website.
This will bring numerous benefits to our recycling program as we can now get discount prices operating systems for recycled computers that meet Microsoft's requirements.
Further Developments
Hello again everyone!
I have some interesting news to report today. We have had a meeting with TooGoodToWaste and they are interested in working with us on the CCC Recycling Project - this is great news since I'm sure their expertise in recycling and their support in general will go a long way in helping us fill out goals. I, and the rest of my staff would like to thank them for their support!
Current Status
At present we have set up our business bank account.
We have started our recycling project and have had a few systems brought in.
We have also been nominated for the best volunteer in a new social enterprise of the year award.
Current Developments
We are not close to completing the financial plan and the the bank information form is nearly ready to go. On other developments Community Computer Care Ltd. will be putting in the application to the CoalFields Regeneration Trust on Friday 30th of April.
We are also pleased to announce that we are now working with Andrew and Lyndon to setup a new social enterprise called Web Chefs. This is an idea for a new and innovative internet cafe that focuses on digital and social inclusion.
We at Community Computer Care Ltd. wish them the best on the upcoming project and will support them however we can.

Welcome to the new Community Computer Care Ltd. website. We are now online and content will be added over the next couple of days.
I have a couple of news items to report. Firstly - we are now fully registered as a social enterprise and would like to give our thanks to Jeyesh Parmer for his support and guidance over the past few months. We are currently working towards getting a business bank account.
Today we met an advisor from the CoalFields Regeneration Trust with regards to a bid we intend on placing in the next few weeks and the news is far better than we hoped. We may put in an application to the CoalFields Regeneration Trust to fund two full time members of staff for two years as well as overhead costs. This is brilliant news!
